We have all seen the story , young entertainer does some scandalous photo shoot , or sex tape and then achieves some
mainstream success and then the scandalous materials come out and they DENY DENY DENY .

Well its kind of reversed with Matthew Ford , but anyone that knows him knows Matthew expect the unexpected.

For over 20 years Matthew Ford was a successful singer /host on the Las Vegas strip as well as the Boardwalks of Atlantic City .
In fact it was while he was the host of the famous/infamous naked girlie show Crazy Girls at the Riviera Hotel in Vegas- when
he made his first adult Movie in 2007 at the tender age of 40 .

That’s rite an age when no sane gay man would even think about putting himself out there to be seen in the buff , he said why not , I’m not getting any younger .

I got asked to do a photo shoot for a calendar – I saw the good quality of the work at “Butch Bear ” and said yes .
the next thing i knew I was the Centerfold and I had this new name ‘MATTHEW FORD”
and then it simply blew up – within 6 months I had filmed for Hot House – Butch Bear and Raging Stallion- .and within a year Matthew Ford had added Falcon/Mustang and Titan to that list .

I didn’t know any better and thought that it was normal to work with all of the big studios. In hindsight it was a good thing and a Liability to have worked with all the major studio so closely together
Good -Because it got my name out there through those many different outlets and not so good because that’s a lot of exposure at the studios and sometimes they are looking for the “NEW”meat and in years time some had “been there ‘ done that ” with Matthew Ford.
Asked why he still gets calls and does films? I think its because I do try to be professional I show up and do my job , I always try and do my best at whatever I am doing, and there seems to be a niche for a a 40 year old guy with body hair, from time to time.
trust me I am not called for anything that has the word TWINK in it ,unless its Hostess Cupcakes .

This is really a BUSINESS, it is hard work ,,no pun intended, long hours , naked wet and hard .it sounds glamorous perhaps but around the 7th hour on the side of a hill in November in the rain it can be a little much .

I also learned to not take myself to seriously , there are those PornStars that are fun , friendly and hot , and then there are those few who are Hot but not terribly fun or friendly and act as if they are Brad Pitt and even a few Meryl Streep’s,

I got some great training when I worked singing with Debbie Reynolds for 5 years , she was wonderful to people that came to see her , she treated each one with kindness and respect , when I see anyone in the entertainment world -mainstream or adult that doesn’t treat people well , I just don’t have a good tolerance for that type of behavior.
In closing
I am a realist – I am not young – I am not a hulking body builder – and my hair line is a bit further back then it was when I was 20
however I wanted to show to men my age and to the ones that WILL be my age , that we can feel sexy after 30 , after 40- 50 and 60 .
There is something sexy about a man that is past all of the insecurity’s and drama’s of the 20′s and 30′s .We know what we want sexually , and we know what we have to offer .
Besides why waste time worrying about what we don’t have any longer life is too short so enjoy what we do have, celebrate our “hotness” whatever age we are .
RELEASE YOUR INNER PORN STAR. is my motto after all there is one hiding in all of us .
